This piece struck to me because these are all real places from the birds eye view from the satelites. It is called Google Maps Typography because these pictures are taken from google maps. You can make out every letter although they are man mad places. What if this was done on purpose? I think that it is more amazing that they are made on accident and just found. This makes me think that font isn't just about a formula or every letter looking exactly the same. Font can be beautiful even when you're not trying to write with it.

INK

I've always wanted to get a tattoo, but I never knew what I wanted. I knew that I wanted a quote or a word, buy another factor that I always thought of was what kind of font would I use. I know that sounds stupid because it is a tattoo, but if i am permanently inking my body, I want the font to show my kind of personality as well. I love the cursive used in this tattoo. It doesn't seem to handwritten where it looks like I just wrote in on my body myself, but it looks like a sweet font, small and cute. I want a font that shows my personality.

It amazes me that one font can be so recognizable and used for years! Disneyland was first opened it 1955 and guessing by the price on the ticket, I would think that this ticket book would be around that same time frame. SO much has changed since then. Not only is there a second park next to disneyland but it is $100 to go for ONE day. Compare that to 3.20! Although that is different the font they used for Disneyland is still the same on the ticket you get today. This is one out of two signature disney fonts. They haven’t changed it since then either. This font is Disney’s personality and although it is not owned by Disney, it will always be associated with it. Reason 1938423987492 why i love Disney so much!
